One of the things I’ve noticed a lot of business owners do is to set up a free blog on Blogger.com or one of the other free hosting services and then neglect to register a domain name of their own for the blog. So instead of being able to tell people to go to CarolBremner.com, for instance, I would be telling them the Internet address is carolbremner.blogspot.com instead. Not nearly as professional sounding. And when the price of domain names today is less than ten dollars a year, not a very good business decision.
I’ve created a short tutorial to help you register a domain name and then point it to your free blog. I hope you find the information useful and welcome your comments. You can either click on the link that below and save a text copy, or listen to the audio at the bottom of this post (although you’ll miss out on the screen shots).
